Artist’s Commentary
In 2016 I collaborated with Knockando Woolmill Trust to produce a series of prints capturing life at the historic district mill in Speyside. The mill continues an unbroken 200 year old tradition, producing woven fabric on its historic looms. At Knockando Woolmill I made drawings of each individual process from wool blending, carding to weaving illustrating the creation of woollen textiles on Victorian machinery.
